3.50 upgrade: modem no longer recognized 19 Years, 5 Months ago
Hi there,

I've been using AT v. 3.13 as a dial-up client for a while now, with few problems (occasionally get invalid page fault errors, which force me to reboot the PC, but that's a separate issue). I tried the upgrade to v. 3.50, but unfortunately when I went into the program, all of a sudden it no longer recognized my modem.

I have an internal USR 56.7k PCI modem, on COM5.

I would like to try v3.50, particularly to see if the other issue I mentioned (invalid page faults) would disappear/lessen with the new version.

Thanks,

Peter

3.50 had a problem with modems. 3.57 should take care of that. Check it out here:

If you continue to get 'invalid page fault', let me know and we can look into that further.

thanks Brian...that did the trick. The modem is now working fine.

Not sure yet about the invalid page fault; I'll let you know if it remains a problem.
