Installing Absolute Telnet in different directory 16 Years, 2 Months ago

Is there a way to install Absolute Telnet in a different directory than the default directory C:Program FilesAbsolute Telnet?
Also would it be possible to install Absolute Telnet on a USB thumb drive and run it from there?

You can change the install directory to anything you want, even a thumb drive. And yes, you can take the thumb drive out and stick it in another machine and run it from there.
The one catch is that once you remove the thumb drive, the machine that you used to do the install will no longer be able to find the programs (you removed the thumb drive, remember). So, you'll want to re-install to a permanent location on that machine.
