The ssh server is rejecting the session request because AbsoluteTelnet is requesting data buffers that are too large. Because the Extreme Networks box is an embeded device, the memory footprint is kept low and Absolute is requesting more memory for the session data buffer than the sshd will allow.
This alone would not cause a crash, but Absolute is not handling the session rejection well and crashes as a result. I've put two things in place to handle this:
1. I've reduced the size of the data buffers to prevent the session from being rejected.
2. I've fixed a bug that causes a crash when a session request fails. You will now get an appropriate error message.
Download and try it here. This fix will be available in version 6.XX and higher.
