Since upgrading to AT V1.84 I have been unable to connect to machines via the serial port on my laptop. This is both using previous configuration files and also newly defined configuration files. Please assist. URGENT - Need a resolution within next 2-3 hours.

Kevin, a little info first....
Which version did you use prior to 1.84??
What version of Windows are you using???
When you say 'unable to connect', what exactly do you mean??? Are you getting an error message? If so, which???

I think it was version 1.82, but can't be sure.
No, I don't get an error message just a blank screen.
Telnet works fine. It may be a problem with my pc as I download a sharware hyperterm app and tried to use this. The result was the same. I think I need to confirm the operability of my serial port first before looking further at the software.
